JEWELLERY CARE

Regular Cleaning – Over time a film of dirt from body lotions, perfumes, makeup and skin oils can accumulate on your jewellery causing it to look dull and/or dirty. Every few weeks, clean with mild soap and lukewarm water, gently brush with toothbrush to remove dirt in crevasses, and pat dry.

Polish (Silver) – Use soft polishing cloth and gently rub to remove tarnish. Note that polishing cloth does not remove scratches. Polishing cloth is available for purchase.

Freshwater Pearl – Never use silver-polishing cloth or strong chemicals as it may dull your pearl. Gently clean your pearl jewellery with mild soap and lukewarm water. Do not use brush, gently rub with fingers, lay flat until completely dry.

Annual Inspection – It is a good practice to bring your jewellery to a goldsmith or trusted jeweller for an annual inspection. We inspect fastenings, hinges, clasps, stone settings, prongs, claws, etc. And provide an estimate for any necessary repairs or cleaning.
